Details of our Next meeting

The next meeting will be next Monday, the 30 March, usual time 7.30 at the Social Club. The guest at the meeting will be Peter Hrebien, the Chairman of the Bury Club and the meeting will be in two parts.

Firstly Peter will give us a demonstration of the software 'Light room'. This is new to me as well, so I looked it up on the internet and it says:
Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® 2 software is essential for today's digital photography workflow. Now you can quickly import, process, manage, and showcase your images — from one shot to an entire shoot. With Lightroom 2, you spend less time in front of the computer and more time behind the lens.
The second part is where Peter has kindly agreed to critique some of our pictures again. This has always proved very popular and Peter as a qualified judge always gives extremely well balanced and constructive comments on our pictures. This is an excellent opportunity to get some hints, tips and invaluable advice. Please bring some prints along that have not been critiqued before. If we all bring around three each, then we should get enough pictures to make it a good evening.
